Take up diverse courses
Take up courses that are unrelated to your field of work or study. This is enriching and will help you widen your area of learning. Take up online courses on history, different languages, finance, art, culture, and anything that sparks your interest or makes you inquisitive. Having diverse knowledge will broaden your view and give you a much better understanding of the things around you.

Cooking is one skill that will always come in handy, and I think quarantine has made that clear. It’s always good to learn the basics of cooking so as to be able to live independently. While we are self-isolating and social distancing, it is essential for us to check on our mental health as well as make sure our friends are doing fine. Keep yourself engaged in doing what you love. There are tons of YouTube tutorials on whatever you’d like. You can learn dance, singing, designing, stitching, and so much more. Spend at least an hour daily on trying to learn the skill.
Exercise does not mean a rigorous workout. Exercise just enough to keep you moving and active. Due to the lockdown, the hours we spend sitting have extended. It’s important that we stay active to maintain a healthier lifestyle. You can try skipping, basic warm-up exercises or following a simple YouTube workout routine.
Stay connected with friends and family
In a time where it is of utmost importance that we socially distance ourselves, we must make sure we check up on our family and friends at this time. Technology has come a long way, maybe have a group video call or just drop in a text. Make it a point that you are surrounded by positive people and that you keep in touch with people you love.
Learn An instrument
If you have a guitar, keyboard, or any other instrument at home, this is the best time to start learning or even polishing your skills. Practice every day, follow free online tutorials, make notes, record yourself to track your progress. You’ll be surprised to see how much progress you can make within a few weeks!
Take a break from the screen
You’re definitely reading this on a screen, so once you’re done, ask yourself when was the last time you looked away. If it’s been a long time, make sure you keep your phone or laptop aside and try reading a book, or cooking something or exercising. Anything will do as long as you are not staring at a screen. Take a 30 min break that will help relax your eyes and mind!
