You’ve accepted a job in Bangalore, secured a college admission, or decided it’s time for a new start in the city. Now comes one fairly important question: where are you going to live?
You’re considering managed accommodation because you’d like a furnished room, a more predictable setup and some help with the everyday essentials. Ideally, moving in won’t begin with buying a mattress. You’d also like moving out to be straightforward when the time comes. Fair enough. You have a new job to get used to. Furnishing an apartment needn’t become your second one.
Now the same three names keep turning up: Zolo, Colive and Stanza Living. They all have rooms to show you and reasons to choose them. What you’re trying to work out is which one will make sense for your life in Bangalore: your office, your budget, your appetite for roommates and your idea of a comfortable evening at home.
Of course, we’re biased. We’re Zolo, and we’d love you to find your next home with us. But you deserve more than us awarding ourselves first place. So we’ll give you a useful picture of the options: named homes, advertised prices, room choices and the details that can change your decision. Where another provider offers something that might suit you, we’ll say so. Let’s start with where you’ll actually spend your week.
Which part of Bangalore should you search first?
You’ve heard about the weather. You’ve heard about the dosas. And someone has almost certainly followed both recommendations with a warning about the traffic. Welcome to the Bangalore briefing.
Bangalore traffic makes location one of the most important parts of your housing decision. Start near your office or campus, ideally around the entrance you’ll use most often. If you work in HSR Layout, for instance, an HSR home deserves an early look; Koramangala might be worth considering if the route works for you. Similarly, Electronic City Phase 1 and Phase 2 aren’t interchangeable just because they share a name.
Check the journey at your usual travel hours before getting attached to a room. Then compare what’s available within your budget.
| Search area | Zolo homes to explore | Where to start |
|---|---|---|
| Electronic City | Zolo Euphoria | Doddathoguru, Phase 1; use the exact office entrance when checking the route |
| North / Manyata area | Zolo Zenn | Nagavara address; the listing places Manyata Tech Park about 1 km away |
| Bellandur / Sarjapur junction | Zolo Lakefront | Ibbaluru address; assess the approach to your office from this side of the junction |
| Koramangala | Zolo Phantom | 5th Block; the listing places Jyoti Nivas College about 250 m away |
| HSR Layout | Zolo Park View and Zolo Elysium | Sector 4 and Sector 7, depending on which end of HSR suits you |
| Whitefield / Mahadevapura | Zolo Amethyst and Zolo Sagar | Use the actual pin: the latter is in Garudachar Palya, Mahadevapura |
Stanza also has Lincoln House in Electronic City Phase 1 and Shanghai House in Bellandur. Colive covers several of the same neighbourhoods. With Zolo homes across these areas, you can look at different room budgets without giving up on being close to work.
What can you get within your monthly budget?
Most of us start with a number. It might be ₹7,000 while you find your feet, ₹12,000 for a comfortable balance, or more for a room entirely to yourself. Zolo gives you several ways to work with that number: share to keep rent down, choose twin sharing for fewer roommates, or put your budget towards privacy.
You can see that flexibility within one home. At Zolo Euphoria, triple sharing starts at ₹4,797, twin sharing at ₹5,740 and a private room at ₹8,446. A private room therefore deserves a look even if you assumed your budget only stretched to sharing. Location still shapes the choice: the same budget buys different options in Electronic City and HSR.
| Your room-rent ceiling | Zolo options to start with | What the budget opens up |
|---|---|---|
| Up to ₹6,000 | Zolo Euphoria · triple ₹4,797; twin ₹5,740 | A manageable starting rent in Electronic City Phase 1 |
| Up to ₹9,000 | Zolo Zenn · twin ₹7,177; Zolo Amethyst · twin ₹7,820; Zolo Euphoria · private ₹8,446 | A choice between neighbourhood and privacy |
| Up to ₹12,000 | Zolo Park View · twin ₹10,742; Zolo Lakefront · twin ₹11,645; Zolo Zenn · private ₹11,310 | Shared options around HSR and Bellandur, or your own room in Nagavara |
| Up to ₹15,000 | Zolo Amethyst · private ₹14,450; Zolo Indus · triple ₹11,799 | Private living in Whitefield or a women’s student home in SG Palya |
The ceiling is for room rent. Keep food, electricity and travel in your overall monthly budget, and allow separately for the deposit and move-in charges. These are starting points, not the only options within each budget. If you already have a neighbourhood in mind, compare the room categories and monthly starting rents at individual Zolo homes below.

What do you get with a Zolo room beyond the bed?
A new job gives you enough to organise. With Zolo, the everyday essentials are already part of the setup: furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, bathroom facilities, housekeeping and laundry access. That means less time arranging broadband, buying appliances or figuring out everyday chores after moving in.
At Zolo Park View and Zolo Elysium, the listings specifically include free laundry alongside Wi-Fi and housekeeping. These may seem like small conveniences, but they’re exactly the things you appreciate once the excitement of moving has settled down.
There is also life outside the bedroom. Many Zolo homes have rooftop lounges, giving you somewhere to catch up with housemates or enjoy the weather Bangalore keeps advertising. Other homes bring different extras: Zolo Nile lists a gym, indoor games and a library; Zolo Sagar lists indoor games. Choose the home with the spaces you will actually enjoy using. Bathroom layouts, rooftop access and additional facilities depend on the home and room you choose.

How do Zolo, Stanza Living and Colive compare?
All three offer furnished accommodation with services to make the move easier. So what should tip the decision? Start with the rooms near your office, then look at what the rent gets you.

Features vary by property and package. The named homes illustrate the comparison; starting rents are for the stated room categories, rather than equivalent all-inclusive packages.
Why would we put Zolo first on your viewing list?
We’d put Zolo first for the choice. You can start with a manageable shared rent, explore private rooms without assuming they are out of reach, and find homes across the city’s main work and study areas. Furnishing, Wi-Fi, housekeeping and laundry access make the move easier; your choice of room and food routine makes the home feel more like yours.
Your office has picked its address. You still get to decide how you want to live nearby. Choose two Zolo homes within your rent ceiling and book a visit to see which room feels right.
When might Stanza Living suit you?
Stanza’s appeal is a structured residential routine. Bilbao House in HSR and Durham House in Whitefield display breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, alongside housekeeping and laundry services. Durham also lists a workout zone.
If you expect to eat most meals at your residence, that structure could be convenient. If you usually eat at work or prefer arranging your own meals, compare the cost of a fixed dining package with the independent options available around your shortlisted homes.
When might Colive suit you?
Colive offers a range of room formats in Bangalore, including private and studio options. Richfield in HSR describes double and triple sharing, a community kitchen, common spaces and a washing-machine area. For someone who values kitchen access or a particular room format, those are relevant reasons to explore it.
Should you choose a women’s, men’s or unisex Zolo home?
Choose the living environment you want, then find the room within it. Your comfort with the residence is as important as the rent. Zolo offers women’s, men’s and unisex options, so you can make that preference part of your search from the beginning.
What are the options for women?
If you’d feel more at home in a women-only residence, make that your first filter. For a student moving around Christ University, start with Zolo Indus in SG Palya. It offers triple sharing from ₹11,799, twin sharing from ₹15,099 and private rooms from ₹22,499. Its listing includes Wi-Fi, housekeeping, laundry facilities, security, a gym and indoor games. There’s somewhere to take a break when you’ve spent enough of the evening at your desk.
If you are moving for work in another part of the city, use Zolo’s Bangalore women’s accommodation search to find options around your office. Prefer a unisex building? Zolo Park View in HSR and Zolo Amethyst in Whitefield offer private and twin room choices. You can choose a women-only residence or a unisex setting without making privacy an afterthought.
Open the linked home to explore its rooms, or use the wider women’s search for other neighbourhoods.
What are the options for men?
For an Electronic City move, Zolo Euphoria is a straightforward place to start: a men’s residence with triple, twin and private categories, starting at ₹4,797, ₹5,740 and ₹8,446 respectively. That gives you three ways to fit the same area into your budget.
For students around Christ University, Zolo Nile is a men’s home in SG Palya with a gym, indoor games, library and biometric access listed alongside the everyday essentials. Triple sharing starts at ₹12,099, twin sharing at ₹15,599 and private rooms at ₹22,499.
Open the home’s listing to compare rooms and arrange a visit. If you’re considering Electronic City, take a look at the private option too; the price may be closer to your budget than you expected.
What if you prefer a unisex residence?
Unisex homes widen the choice across Bangalore. Zolo Zenn brings private and twin options to a Manyata-area search; Zolo Lakefront does the same around Ibbaluru; Zolo Phantom offers private, twin and triple categories in Koramangala. If you’re happy in a unisex building, you have several neighbourhoods and room budgets to work with.
“Unisex” describes the residence, not an automatic mixed-gender roommate allocation. Select your preferred room arrangement when enquiring. Whether you choose women-only, men-only or unisex, ask the team to explain entry rules, visitor access and on-site support at your chosen home.
What makes Zolo student living more than a room near college?
College won’t take up every hour of your day, although exam week might try. You’ll want somewhere to study, people to hang out with and help when something in the room needs fixing. Zolo 360° is our approach to looking after that side of student life. Parents want to know who’s around to help. Students want a home they’ll actually enjoy. The approach makes space for both.
The approach is built around seven pillars:
Access controls and on-site support around everyday student life.
Cleaning and upkeep that help keep the home comfortable.
A food routine that supports college days and study hours.
Furnished rooms, connectivity and spaces for downtime.
Room for focused study, friendships and life beyond lectures.
Digital ways to raise requests and manage the stay.
A wider student experience through connections and opportunities.
Around Christ University, Zolo Nile (men) and Zolo Indus (women) put parts of this approach into practice. Both list furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, security, gyms and indoor games. Nile also lists a library and biometric access, while Indus describes community events and workshops. Facilities and programmes vary by residence.
| Student home | Residence | Triple / month | Twin/month | Private / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zolo Nile | Men | ₹12,099 | ₹15,599 | ₹22,499 |
| Zolo Indus | Women | ₹11,799 | ₹15,099 | ₹22,499 |
Student-home starting rents. Confirm the current dining package and student programmes with the residence team. Both pages list advance rent, a deposit and annual maintenance charges separately.
If Christ University is your destination, put these homes on your campus-visit itinerary. See the study and common spaces as well as the room. Choosing where you will spend the rest of the day deserves a little of the attention you have given the college itself.
Can you make meals fit your routine?
You may get lunch at the office, want a weekday tiffin subscription, have particular food preferences, or consider finding your favourite dosa place part of settling in. With Zolo, you can shape your food routine around your day: explore third-party vendors, independent meal subscriptions, delivery and nearby dining options.
If lunch is already covered at work, you probably don’t need a second lunch waiting at home. You could arrange dinner on workdays and leave weekends open, or choose a vendor whose menu suits you. Vendor coverage, menu choices and subscription terms determine the options; meals are separate from base rent unless your selected package says otherwise.
Student homes can have their own dining arrangements. Zolo Indus currently displays breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, so ask the residence team about the available package when planning a campus move. Stanza’s Bilbao and Durham also display scheduled meals; Colive advertises optional food service. Choose the arrangement you will enjoy using, then include it in your monthly total.
What else do Bangalore renters ask?
Can I find a private Zolo room below ₹10,000?
Yes. Zolo Euphoria in Electronic City lists a private category from ₹8,446 per month. Private-room prices depend on the home and variant; the price tables above show the private options alongside shared rooms.
Does Zolo offer Wi-Fi and laundry?
Yes. Wi-Fi and laundry access are part of the Zolo setup. Zolo Park View and Zolo Elysium specifically list free laundry. Check the selected home’s allowance and service arrangement when choosing your room.
Are meals included in the rent?
Do not assume they are. Zolo meal arrangements are home-specific, with third-party and independent food options available to explore. Choose your food plan alongside your room and have any meal charges shown separately on the quote.
How many properties do Zolo and Stanza have in Bangalore?
The city pages displayed 175 Zolo results and 74 Stanza results. These are listing totals, not counts of vacant rooms; the providers use different search filters. A comparable Colive city total was not verified.
Found a home that fits?
Your budget, location and preferred living arrangement should now have helped narrow the options. The next step is seeing whether the room feels right in person.
Pick two Zolo homes from your shortlist and open their listings to arrange a viewing. Check the actual room, bathroom facilities and common spaces, and ask for the complete monthly cost, deposit and notice terms.
Then choose the place you’d be happy to come home to.
